The Challenge

The City of New York needed to convince the Department of Defense to increase the City's share of funds available through the federal government's Domestic Preparedness Program.

The Solution

Research and write a short report on the Domestic Preparedness Program (as well as talking points and a budget breakdown) for the Commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management, who was to testify before Department of Defense officials.

The Result

The City of New York was able to secure additional anti-terrorism funding from the Department of Defense.
